Vintage Modernist Full Circle Skirt, 1940s/50s Silk Skirt 26" Waist

Vintage 1940s/50s silk full circle skirt with a 2" waistband.
Abstract Modernist pattern in blues, pale grey, black, and metallic gold. 
Very lightweight painted/printed silk fabric. The metallic gold is painted on. 
2 buttons at waistband, metal zipper at back.

Dated late 40s/early 50s.

CONDITION: Very good. There is a repair along the hemline, refer to last photo. 
The skirt is very wearable, but there are some areas in the silk that thinning due to age. When the fabric is held to the sunlight the areas are noticeable. 

LABEL: No Label, this may have been hand made.

Length: 32" taken from the top of the waistband.
Mannequin measurements: Size 2, Bust - 33" Waist - 24" Hips - 34"
